Kaichou wa Maid-sama is a shoujo anime but unlike the previous season’s Kimi ni Todoke, this series has much more humour implemented into it. Episode 13, titled “Moron, Delinquent and Hero”,  has just been released by fansub group Eclipse and I will be doing a summary on said episode.

The episode starts off with a delinquent getting beaten up by what seems to be the strongest delinquent of Seisen Junior High, Aratake. This gives the impression that the episode will contain more action-packed elements. Aratake is searching for the man feared as the “White Tornado Beast”, a.k.a the legendary man from Seisen. The “White Tornado Beast” coincidentally happens to be Shirokawa from the “Moron Trio”.

The next day, Yukimura was forced to cross-dress to pretend to be a classmate’s girlfriend in an effort to dupe his classmate’s mum into believing that he has a girlfriend. Yukimura ,after changing into the female uniform, ran off and approached the Moron Trio for help. That was when Aratake’s group confronted them and took Yukimura by force after mistaking him to be Aratake’s girlfriend.

The Moron Trio being stumped were joined by Misaki and Usui. This group of 5 then decided to rescue Yukimura. They traversed to Seisen Junior High to seek information on Aratake where they bumped into Aoi-chan who happens to study there. They then moved towards Aratake’s Secret hideout after the Moron Trio revealed that they know the location of the secret hideout. To prevent affecting the reputation of Seika High any further, they changed into clothes suited to look like delinquents which Aoi-chan happened to have.

When gathered infront of the secret hideout, Suzuna appears and proceeds to give the group a lecture on frozen dumplings. After that, random people that Misaki knows shows up to delay the group from proceeding ahead with their plan.

They finally get into the secret hideout where Shirokawa and Aratake started fighting and the history between the two was shown. The episode ends with Aratake’s group acknowledging that Misaki is the stongest in Seika High and not a single person remembers that they were supposed to rescue Yukimura.

Overall rating: 3.8/5

Misaki and Usui didn’t get enough screen time in this episode but overall it’s pretty good.
